Hours : 40 hours – Shift worker
Salary : XCG 16,65 gross per hour
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Terminal Operations Officer. This role oversees terminal operations, ensures passenger safety, supports efficient daily activities, and manages proper emergency response. The position also focuses on strong customer service and creating a positive experience for all travelers. A great job in a pleasant work environment!

What will you do?
As a Terminal Operations Officer you will be responsible for:
- Monitor terminal activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and smooth passenger flow
- Organize and coordinate terminal processes and resolve operational issues
- Enforce airport rules, conduct inspections, and manage queues
- Maintain logs, prepare reports, and coordinate with all airport partners
- Coordinate evacuations and follow emergency plans
- Act as first point of contact during incidents or accidents
- Support crowd control and assist in managing emergency situations
- Provide information and handle passenger questions
- Manage complaints and escalate complex cases
- Liaise with passengers during disruptions and support lost & found and safety‑related issues
- Propose solutions, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive team environment
- Perform additional tasks as needed
What we ask
- Education on SBO/MBO level in the field of Airport Operations, Hospitality or a related field;
- Minimal 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service;
- Knowledge safety regulations, inspections, and quality standards
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate according to safety procedures
- Ability to perform inspections, identify issues, and coordinate corrective actions
- Able to handle difficult situations, large crowds, and stress
- Strong reporting, teamwork, problem‑solving, and attention to detail
- Able to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies 24/7
- Fluent in English, Dutch, Papiamentu, and Spanish (spoken and written)
