Position : Surveyor
Employment : 1-year project with option to extend

Salary : XCG $4.000 – $4.500, – per month net

For one of our clients we’re looking for a Surveyor. You will be a part of an international organization that’s working right now on the SABA Black Rocks Harbor Project! This Project is to design and construct a new port on the south side of Saba, an island in the Caribbean. The scope of the project contains dredging, a rock-breakwater, a concrete deck on piles and civil works on land. It is anticipated to erect a Precast Yard for the project on STATIA Island.

What will you do?
- As a Surveyor you will be responsible for:
- Conducting land and site surveys using GPS, Total Station, and other surveying instruments.
- Preparing topographic maps, boundary surveys, and layout plans.
- Verifying and setting out construction alignments, levels, and elevations.
- Collecting and analyzing spatial data for design and planning purposes.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards in surveying activities.
- Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of measurements.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure project accuracy.
What we ask
- Possession of a Dutch//American passport is mandatory
- Degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, laser scanners).
- Knowledge of CAD and GIS software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
- Willingness to relocate to Saba and Statia for the duration of the project.
- Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude is essential for success in this role.
