Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for operational excellence?
For our client, a leading resort in Curaçao, we are currently looking for an experienced Stewarding Manager. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all stewarding operations, ensuring that hygiene, sanitation, and service standards are maintained at the highest level. You will lead and develop the stewarding team while providing essential support to all Food & Beverage operations throughout the resort.

What will you do?
As a Stewarding Manager, you will be responsible for, among other things:
- Creating and managing staff schedules while ensuring optimal productivity
- Monitoring staffing levels and workforce efficiency
- Processing and reviewing stewarding-related payroll administration
- Managing inventory, storage areas, and equipment maintenance
- Ordering supplies and ensuring adequate stock levels
- Recruiting, interviewing, training, and coaching stewarding employees
- Conducting annual performance reviews and monthly self-audits
- Supervising and evaluating stewarding staff daily
- Overseeing cafeteria operations and assisting with menu planning
- Maintaining strong communication and cooperation between kitchen, service, and stewarding teams
- Professionally handling guest complaints and special requests
- Ensuring sufficient availability of China, silverware, glassware, and kitchen supplies
- Organizing and conducting pre-shift meetings
- Supporting banquet and special event operations
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP standards and sanitation requirements
- Maintaining and auditing HACCP documentation and records
- Monitoring the validity of required certifications for stewarding staff
- Ensuring that all stewarding operations meet the resort’s service and performance standards
- Assisting the team whenever operational support is required
- Attending required meetings and performing additional duties as assigned by management
What we ask
- MBO-level Food & Beverage education or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience within hospitality, food & beverage, or stewarding operations
- Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency
- Good command of English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu
- A proactive, service-oriented, and results-driven attitude
- Flexibility to work in an operation that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
