Salary : XCG $3.000 – $3.500, – per month net

For one of our clients we’re looking for an SPMT Operator-Marine & Civil Construction Logistics. You will be a part of an international organization that’s working right now on the SABA Black Rocks Harbor Project! This Project is to design and construct a new port on the south side of Saba an island in the Caribbean. The scope of the project contains dredging, a rock-breakwater, a concrete deck on piles and civil works on land. It is anticipated to erect a Precast Yard for the project on STATIA Island.

What will you do?
- As an SPMT Operator, you will will be responsible for:
- Operate Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) for transporting oversized and heavy loads across site and harbor areas
- Inspect hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic systems before mobilization and run diagnostic checks
- Execute synchronized movements with multiple axle lines and remote control systems
- Position loads accurately for lifting, launching, or installation
- Support barge roll-on/roll-off operations and marine load-outs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist with minor repairs
- Prepare SPMT configurations and assist with mobilization/demobilization of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of transport operations and ensure compliance with HSE and international standards (ISO, IEC, OSHA)
- Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, and marine crews during heavy lifts
What we ask
- Possession of a Dutch/American passport is mandatory
- Technical certification in heavy equipment operation or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of experience in heavy transport or SPMT operations (marine/civil construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic control systems
- Ability to read load charts, transport schematics, and technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license; SPMT/rigging certification preferred
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
