For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for fully and timely managing the financial administration. You will safeguard the quality of financial processes, analyze figures, prepare reliable reports, and act as the subject‑matter expert within the accounting team.

What will you do?
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing the full financial administration
- Reviewing general ledger accounts & performing periodic reconciliations
- Processing purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, and journal entries
- Preparing and executing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Preparing financial reports for management
- Analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies or risks
- Supporting audits and preparing annual financial statements
- Preparing and submitting tax returns
- Monitoring deadlines and maintaining contact with tax authorities and external accountants
- Improving financial processes & internal controls
- Optimizing financial systems and procedures
- Drafting and updating work instructions and guidelines
- Coaching and supporting colleagues within the team.
- Checking work activities and acting as the first point of contact.
What we ask
- A bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Economics, or equivalent.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience as an accountant
- Experience with year-end closings and working with auditors
- Experience with modern accounting software & strong Excel skills
- Accurate, analytically strong, communicative, and proactive
- Team-oriented, reliable, and able to perform under pressure
