In this role, you will support the stewarding operation by ensuring all dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties are carried out according to the highest hygiene standards. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment and contribute to the smooth operation of food service areas!

What will you do?
As a Second Steward you will be responsible for:
- Performing dishwashing, pot wash, and back-of-house cleaning tasks
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, equipment, and utensils
- Using cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures
- Ensuring cleaned tableware, cookware, and utensils are properly stored
- Supporting event setups and breakdowns by preparing service equipment
- Reporting equipment issues, supply shortages, and safety concerns to the First Steward
- Following HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Assisting the First Steward and supporting Galley Stewards when needed
What we ask
- Minimum 1 year of experience in stewarding, cleaning, or a back-of-house support role
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and chemical safety
- Food Handler Permit or willingness to obtain one
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle cleaning equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Good command of English and/or Dutch
Work Hours
- Until October 20 2026, the working hours will be:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:40 PM.
- As of October 21 2026, the working hours will be:
Monday through Sunday in one of the following shifts:
– 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM
– 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
– 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
