For one of our clients we’re looking for a Sales Supervisor Traditional Trade. In this dynamic role, you will lead and coordinate sales operations within the Traditional Trade channel, including minimarkets, toko’s, and independent retailers. You’ll work closely with presellers and merchandisers to ensure excellent product availability, strong promotional execution, and outstanding customer service. What will you do?
As a Sales Supervisor Traditional Trade you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating daily sales execution and pre-selling activities within the Traditional Trade channel.
- Ensuring optimal product availability, stock levels, and stock rotation at the point of sale.
- Supervising, coaching, and motivating presellers and helpers.
- Monitoring promotions, merchandising, and brand visibility in stores.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Analyzing sales results, route performance, and market trends to improve sales performance.
- Ensuring compliance with sales processes, SOPs, and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
What we ask
- A completed MBO Level 4 education.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales of fast-moving consumer goods (such as beverages, food, or other high-turnover consumer products), preferably within the traditional trade channel.
- Experience supervising or coordinating sales teams.
- A strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance targets, relationships, and execution quality.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using sales data.
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and sales systems (such as Axxon).
- Good communication skills in Papiamentu and English; Dutch and Spanish are an advantage.
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and food safety standards is a plus.
