Employment : Temporary agency contract combined with education

Hours : 32 working hours + 1 school day per week
Salary : XCG 11.93 gross per hour (in accordance with the statutory minimum wage)

Do you want to learn while earning a salary? And are you looking not just for a job, but for a future in hospitality? The hospitality sector in Curaçao is growing and offers plenty of opportunities for motivated talent. With this work-and-learn program, you start building your career from day one. You will work four days per week at a hotel or restaurant and attend classes one day per week. This way, you gain hands-on experience while working toward a recognized diploma. Together with Vivente SBO, we are looking for motivated professionals!
Available Programs:
• Junior Chef de Partie – Level 2
• Junior Sous-Chef – Level 3
• All-round Food & Beverage Attendant – Level 3
This is not a side job! This is your starting point in a sector with growth opportunities toward leadership roles, kitchen specializations such as Head Chef or Sous Chef, waiter or even management positions within hospitality.

What will you do?
As a F&B Work-Study professional:
• Work in the kitchen or service department within a hotel or restaurant
• Apply technical skills directly in practice
• Develop professional hospitality and teamwork skills
• Attend classes at Vivente SBO one day per week
• Actively work on your personal and professional growth
• Grow step by step from beginner to professional
What we are looking for?
• Hospitality experience is a plus, but definitely not required
• You are eager to learn and motivated
• You take responsibility
• You are reliable
• You speak Dutch and English
