Position : Electrical Installation Technician
Employment : 3 – 4 months project with option to extend
Location : Saba
Hours : 40 Hours
Salary : $2.300 – $2.500, – per month net.

For one of our clients we’re looking for an Electrical Installation Technician to join an international organization working on the SABA Black Rocks Harbor Project! This project aims to design and construct a new harbor on the south side of Saba, an island in the Caribbean. The scope includes dredging, a rock-breakwater, a concrete deck on piles, and civil works on land.

What will you do?
As an Electrical Installation Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Installing all internal and external wiring, conduits, distribution boxes, and terminals
- Mounting and connecting switches, lighting fixtures, and socket outlets as per layout drawings
- Installing, testing, and commissioning air conditioning units
- Performing insulation resistance, continuity, and voltage tests prior to energization
- Submitting documentation for electrical inspections and test results
- Coordinating with plumbing and building teams to avoid service conflicts
- Observing all HSE requirements and ensuring use of approved tools and PPE
- Reporting daily activities, progress, and technical issues to the Supervisor
- Installing piping from water supply to fixtures including WCs, showers, and wash basins (internal and external)
- Installing hot water heaters, floor drains, traps, vent systems, and all sanitary, kitchen, and laundry equipment
- Performing hydrostatic and air pressure tests to validate installations
- Routing pipes to minimize service clashes and ensure accessible maintenance zones
- Working collaboratively with electrical and structural teams
- Ensuring compliance with material specifications and regulatory norms
- Following site safety guidelines and reporting potential hazards
- Providing daily updates and coordinating materials with the Supervisor
What we ask
- Possession of a Dutch/American passport is mandatory
- Licensed electrician with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Skilled in installation of low-voltage systems (110/220/380V), distribution panels, and cable installation
- Capable of installing and testing cooling systems, particularly split-type air conditioners
- Experienced in using electrical testing instruments and applying IEC installation practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow safety standards
