For a leading organization in Curaçao, we are seeking a driven and results-oriented Credit Control Manager. In this senior role, you will be responsible for the entire credit control and accounts receivable process. You will lead the Accounts Receivable team, monitor credit risks, and play a key role in optimizing financial processes that contribute to healthy cash flow and a strong financial position for the organization.
You are a strong communicator who can effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders. You know how to balance customer focus, risk management, and the achievement of financial objectives. In addition, you will actively contribute to process improvements, policy development, and the continued professionalization of the Finance Department.

What will you do?
As a Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and supporting the Accounts Receivable team
- Managing and optimizing the entire accounts receivable process
- Ensuring the timely collection of outstanding receivables
- Monitoring credit risks and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Analyzing the accounts receivable portfolio and reporting findings and risks
- Supporting the implementation and compliance of credit and collection policies
- Assessing customer creditworthiness and approving credit limits
- Establishing payment arrangements and payment plans
- Maintaining contact with customers regarding outstanding balances and overdue payments
- Liaising with external collection agencies
- Coordinating collection procedures and legal actions when necessary
- Collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, and Cashier Operations to resolve payment disputes efficiently
- Preparing and presenting management reports
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, financial regulations, and company policies
- Performing various administrative duties within the Finance Department
What we ask
- Completed MBO Level 4 diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field
- HBO working and thinking level
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, or Debtor Management
- At least 1-2 years of proven leadership experience
- Experience within a retail environment is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Results-driven, proactive, independent, and decisive
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu, both written and spoken
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop teams
