One resort, multiple opportunities! Which role fits you? For one of our clients in the hospitality industry, we’re looking for a Cost Controller to strengthen the Finance team. Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in cost control and inventory management? In this role, you’ll monitor operational costs, analyze financial performance, and help safeguard the resort’s profitability, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage, inventory, purchasing, and cost of sales.

What will you do?
As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly Food & Beverage costs and identifying variances
- Supervising inventory counts, stock movements, inventory valuation, and stock rotation
- Verifying purchases, purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier invoices
- Developing and maintaining recipe costing and analyzing menu profitability
- Preparing monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and management recommendations
- Coordinating month-end closing activities, including inventory reconciliation and cost of sales calculations
- Reconciling sales and inventory data across POS, inventory, PMS, and accounting systems
- Conducting inventory spot checks and supporting internal and external audits
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending corrective actions
What we ask
- You have experience in cost control, finance, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably within hospitality
- You have a strong understanding of Food & Beverage cost control, inventory valuation, and cost of sales
- You are analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented
- You have good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting
- Experience with hospitality management, POS, inventory, or accounting systems is an advantage
- You have strong communication skills and can work effectively with different departments
- You are able to investigate discrepancies, meet deadlines, and work independently
- You speak English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
