In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities. What will you do?
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both existing and new clients
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent service and timely follow-up
- Identifying customer needs and translating these into tailored solutions in collaboration with technical and operations teams
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closing and after-sales follow-up
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and proactively addressing service or performance issues
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and market developments
- Contributing to the development and achievement of sales targets and account plans
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and delivery
- Representing the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings when necessary
What we ask
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or business development
- Experience in a technical or B2B environment is preferred
- Affinity with technical products and solutions; experience in the energy, power systems, or engineering sector is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch, and Papiamentu
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, AFAS) is preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally if required
- Valid driver’s license
