Commercial Marketing Specialist (1 year project)

For one of our clients, a prominent company on the island in the aviation sector, we are looking for a temporary (1 year) Commercial Marketing Specialist.

Description:

As a Commercial Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for the policy development, implementation, evaluation and advice in the field of marketing. Also managing the marketing campaigns, targeting existing customers and analysis and communication of the commercial marketing plan and campaign performance.

Function:

• Responsible for identifying and analyzing of developments in the field of marketing;
• Responsible for the annual plan and budget and takes care of its implementation and evaluation;
• Responsible for the market research and translates this into a competitive analysis;
• Creates marketing campaigns and organizes promotions and events;
• Analyzes and reports on the measurability of marketing activities to find the balance in budget distribution;
• Evaluates, analyzes and measures ongoing marketing campaigns and reports on progress;
• Manages and monitors the marketing budgets and supports the “sales departments” by making the necessary material available;
• Advises on positioning products or services based on market knowledge and consumer perceptions;
• Develops new products to market and advises the Manager Commercial Business Services and CCO on this;
• Monitors the image of the company and takes care of improving brand awareness;
• Writes and submits newsletters and articles and manages the website of the company.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in the field of Marketing;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
• Speaks fluent and writes correct business English, speak fluently Spanish, Papiamentu and Dutch;
• Organized and detail oriented;
• Team player, multi-task and time management;
• Can work well in stressful, high-pressure situations;
• Computer skill Microsoft Office.
